Ravi Nookala, President and Chief Executive Officer

Ravi Nookala was appointed President & CEO of GLENTEL Inc., in March of 2016. Ravi is responsible for growing GLENTEL’s presence in the Canadian marketplace.

Ravi has held extensive leadership and C-Suite roles over the years in the telecommunications and consumer products industries, most recently, over the past three years, as President - Sony Mobile Communications (U.S.A.) Inc. Prior to that, he was responsible for driving marketing and sales strategy in his role as Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing - Sony of Canada.

Ravi began his career at Sony in 1991. Since then he has held senior management roles across Sony’s worldwide operations spanning the Middle East, India, Canada and the U.S.A

Ravi holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management - University of Toronto and has also completed the Advanced Leadership Program at UCLA.

Erika Tse, Vice President, Human Resources, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary

Erika Tse joined GLENTEL in 2006 as the Company’s Corporate Secretary and Director of Legal Affairs and Human Resources. Erika has been practicing law since 1994 and has spent the majority of her legal career in various in-house counsel positions including TCG International Inc., Weyerhaeuser Company Limited, and Overwaitea Food Group. She obtained her Bachelor of Law from Dalhousie University and her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia. 

Damon A. Jones, Vice President, Retail Sales and Operations

Damon Jones joined the GLENTEL team in January 2000 as a Regional Sales Manager for British Columbia and opened the new WIRELESSWAVE stores in Alberta and Ontario later that year. Progressing through Director of Retail and General Manager of WIRELESSWAVE, he became General Manager of GLENTEL’s Retail Division in 2006. Damon came to GLENTEL with 18 years of manager experience at Tandy/Intertan dba Radio Shack in Canada.

Harry Parmar, General Manager, Wireless Etc.(Costco Canada)

Harry joined GLENTEL in November 2013 and since his arrival, he has focused his energies on growing GLENTEL'S wireless business at Costco Canada. Harry has led the creation and execution of our transformational GROW strategy, in partnership with Costco Canada's leadership team. The GROW strategy firmly puts the Costco Member at the centre of our business model.Prior to joining GLENTEL, Harry spent 16 years at Future Shop/Best Buy Canada and Best Buy Europe in a number of increasingly progressive leadership and executive roles. During this time, Harry led business units in the following functional areas: merchandising & procurement, global sourcing, customer service & repairs centres, extended warranty, customer call centres, on-line expanded assortments, new business start up's & international expansion.Prior to his time with Best Buy/Future Shop, Harry held the role of Manager, National Retail for a new Canadian wireless start-up company called Clearnet PCS, better known today as TELUS Mobility.

Daniel Phillips, Senior Director, Marketing

Daniel Phillips joined the GLENTEL team in November of 2016. Daniel drives strategy, innovation and execution in the areas of Brand Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Learning & Development. Prior to joining GLENTEL, Daniel was the Director of Marketing for Sony, leading Sony's retail TV business in Canada. Daniel has also held management positions within the Strategy & Operations practice of Monitor-Deloitte, and the Process Engineering group of global contract manufacturer, Celestica.

Daniel holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University.
